May was rushing around, as she was running late which is how she slipped on the black ice falling forwards putting her hands out to try and protect herself. As May picked herself up from the ground, she noticed that her spectacles had fallen down a drain and that her hands were bloody from the impact with the frozen ground. Oh great, thought May, now I will be even more late for Court.
